Nimbus is led by the partnership of Matt and Francesca — a pairing rooted in shared values of beauty, ease, and genuine human hospitality. We met in Bali, while staying in a series of Airbnbs that taught us contrast between poor management and lacking design, and stellar service with inspiring interiors. We bonded over how deeply a space can shape the way someone feels — and how few rentals truly honor that potential. Nimbus was born from that experience: the desire to bring design-forward, heart-led stewardship to the homes we care for. We don’t simply manage properties — we tend to them, creating places where guests feel held and owners feel proud.
Francesca
Francesca is the design soul of Nimbus — an artist, interior designer, and space curator with a background from FIT in New York City, where she formally studied interior design. She has worked in the design field throughout her career and brings both a trained eye and intuitive sensibility to every property. As a muralist and visual storyteller, she doesn’t simply decorate — she creates emotional atmosphere and sense of place. She is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thorough in the way she cares for a space, ensuring not just beauty, but intention and function. What she brings to Nimbus is the ability to make a home felt, not just seen — the aliveness that turns a stay into an experience.
Matt
Matt is the grounded backbone of Nimbus — warm, people-first, and deeply skilled in creating experiences that feel personal and cared for. With a background and Masters in organizational psychology, he understands human behavior, communication, and what truly makes people feel at ease — which translates directly into the guest experience and the way he builds trust with homeowners. He is widely traveled and architecture-minded, carrying a global perspective on space, beauty, and thoughtful hospitality. As a photographer, he sees design through composition and feeling, giving him a unique eye for what makes a home resonate, not just function. Matt brings steadiness, heart, and a refined sense of care into every property he touches.
